Thank you for stopping by Shadow Kisses Book Reviews! First off, how has your week been?
Thank you for having me! I'm so excited to be here. My week has been busy with work and writing.

I am getting my Paralegal degree! How is it working in the criminal justice field?
I've been a background investigator and a civilian Special Agent for the Department of Defense. I enjoyed the work. High-speed vehicle surveillance, working crime scenes, electronic monitoring; there was always a different investigative technique that could be used to solve a case.

What are the best and worst parts of your full time job?
The best part was actually being out of the office and working a case, whether it was meeting with contacts or applying a tracking device to a vehicle. The worst? The paperwork. Typing the investigative report always took awhile and slowed my momentum when all I wanted to do was go to the next step in the case.

What inspires you in your writing?
The love story! I enjoy a good love story and putting words on paper is a fun experience.

What is the most exciting thing about being an author?
Completing a novel and seeing it published!

If you transport yourself into any book, which would it be?
Either Little Women or Pride and Prejudice: my favorites.

Your house is burning down and you can only grab three things....what are they?
My purse and keys, laptop, and a jacket.

What was a mistake you made that you wish you hadn't, but were glad you were able to learn from?
I had an opportunity to be overly kind with a boss that disliked me and I wasn't. I was so focused on how mistreated I was that I didn't realize my attitude just added to my stress and frustration. It is difficult to rise above trying situations using kindness and love and had I done that, it might have made the situation better.

What is your next project?
I am currently writing book two in the Virginia Justice series and jotting down notes and/or scenes for other books that I can't wait to write!

Anything else you would like the readers to know?
Please contact me! I'd love to hear from you. I blog, have a couple of facebook pages, and you can always tweet me.
